Plagiarism, Copyright and Open Access Policy
Original work, authors' rights and barrier-free reading.
Official policy. Adopted text confirmed by the journal editor.
Purpose and scope
This policy applies to all submissions to JHSS and JERS. It complements Open Access Policy and Copyright & Licensing.
Plagiarism and originality
- All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism.
- Work containing unattributed copying or unethical paraphrase is rejected — or, if discovered after publication, corrected or retracted with a transparent notice.
- Authors cite all sources and obtain permissions where needed.
Copyright and licensing
- Authors retain copyright.
- Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce and distribute the article.
- Published articles appear under a Creative Commons licence (CC BY or CC BY-NC) as specified at publication.
Open access
All published content is freely accessible worldwide immediately on publication, with no submission or publication fees. Any future fee change would be announced well in advance and never applied retrospectively.
